Your background could be agency or clientside not necessarily with social experience, as long as you are truly interested in the sector. Exposure to the innovative methodologies and theoretical frameworks of behavioural science will be valuable, as your colleagues are passionate about using these to gain a deeper understanding of people's decision processes.
