UX Research Manager - Media Owner
Our client is a leading media owner, who are at the forefront of digital and mobile exposure, based in fantastic modern offices in London. They are looking for a UX Research Manager to join their User Experience Research division. This role will suit someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment, where you can be hands-on throughout and work with senior stakeholders in the business.
Based in the Consumer Research Division, this role will be working closely with various internal teams such as Marketing, Editorial, Brand and UX Design, as well as the rest of the Insight team. Your key goal is to support the design and release of new digital products.
Key Duties Include:-
- Defining the needs of the User Experience team and delivering on a wide range of their products
- Managing relationships with partnering agencies
- Carrying out necessary research to understand how consumers feel the products work and what could be improved
- Manage research programmes such as diary studies, user testing, writing scripts and providing insights to the UX and Product teams
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a strong background in user experience research methods. Agency experience is desirable, as this is a fast paced environment and this role is hands-on - you may have worked for a Media Agency or Research Agency, and experience in media is an advantage. Candidates from Media Owners will also be considered. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to influence key people within the business. You will have a real passion for what you do and will be someone who enjoys a challenge and learning new things.
