Associate/Research Director - Qualitative
Our client is a full service research agency, based in a great London location, with modern offices and a friendly and professional working environment. They are looking for either an Associate or Research Director to join their qualitative team. In this role, you will be working alongside other qualitative experts as well as with the quantitative team on a range of projects within media and communications. This role will suit someone who wants to be part of a successful team, working across a range of sectors including Media, Technology, FMCG and retail. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from proposal stage through to delivery of presentation. You will be working across a range of qualitative methodologies including focus groups, workshops, IDIs, ethnography and semiotics. You will be leading on projects and overseeing the project team, including delegation of work and managing more junior staff through the process.
Key Duties Include:-
-Writing proposals and pitching for business
-Designing research methodologies
-Overseeing projects through their life cycle
-Moderation of groups, depths and running workshops
-Working with more junior staff to pull out key findings and turn these into tangible insights for clients so that they can take action
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a strong background in qualitative research. You will have experience in taking a project from proposal through to delivering reports and presentations. You will have strong group moderation experience and will have managed several complex qual projects. Experience in media and communications is a must.
