Senior Evaluation Consultant – Social Research (Crime, Employment, Education, Social Care)
London / Hybrid working - £Excellent + Benefits
Joining the policy and evaluation team as a Senior Consultant you will work with public institutions to assess the effectiveness and impact of policies and programmes to improve public services. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes economists and social policy researchers that work across all areas of public policy.
You will enjoy a really broad role focusing on the evaluation of social policies and programmes aimed at tackling a variety of complex issues spanning crime, employment, education, social care and migration to name a few areas.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of mixed-method evaluations of social policy-related programmes. You will be supporting an established team of evaluators and policy specialists advancing the use of key methodologies, such as randomised controlled trials (RCT), quasi-experimental designs, and other mixed methods studies.
To hit the ground running in this role, you will need experience of:
- A wide range of evaluation techniques and experience of designing and delivering evaluations in a commercial environment
- Managing evaluation projects through the full project life cycle from evaluation design to data collection and analysis through to conclusions and recommendations
- Commercial / business development skills
- Ability to drive and support the business to move into new areas
