Developer (SQL/Excel) - International Market Insights Firm

Are you an extensively experienced Developer who knows SQL but has broader experience, possibly of legacy, besides?

This long established market insights group provides a range of market research, insights & intelligence services for a particular vertical with FMCG/retail, and at local, regional, country and global levels. Given their longstanding and market leading presence, they have vast stores of data available for a broad range of research, insights & intelligence services. Currently they are undergoing a huge transformational process, and as such they need an additional Developer to join the team who will play a key role in improving some of their products.

In essence this transformational piece will involve changing what has often been done via Excel/VBA etc into SQL, plus further activity re data development, data architecture, in order to facilitate automation etc. In other words you'll be making data more efficient within the business.

Ideally you'll be 'more' than simply a SQL Developer (as that’s purely a starting point) - instead, it may well be you've had similar experience in other market research or data providers and know how such transformation pieces work within these businesses re pre-SQL processes, so you can therefore bring your expertise here.
