We are looking for a talented Senior Insight Officer to contribute to the work of RNIB’s award winning Research and Insight team.

The Research and Insight team champions the voice of the customer, delivering compelling insights to shape the changes that are needed to improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people and facilitate equal participation.

Your focus will be on a wide range of consumer and B2B audiences that have an impact on the lives of blind and partially sighted people.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be managing a program of research and insight to better understand how the public perceive blind and partially sighted people, informing RNIB’s social change ambitions and evaluating behaviour change initiatives.

You’ll gain insights into the RNIB brand and its audience of supporters to understand motivations and guide the development of innovative brand and fundraising campaigns.

You’ll undertake horizon scanning to identify key trends in the fundraising market, customer experience, and key corporate sectors to identify potential opportunities for RNIB.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

With experience of managing a range of qualitative and quantitative research and insight projects, you will have good knowledge and understanding of brand and consumer research, horizon scanning, and social media analysis.

You’ll be able to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and partners at all levels (including senior leaders) to deliver actionable insights.

You’ll be a curious and open-minded insight professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information concisely.

You will enjoy working collaboratively, thrive on thought-provoking and complex problem solving and be passionate about removing inequality.

You may have worked agency or client side.

In return

We offer a competitive salary, a stimulating and supportive working environment and a benefits package including:

  • 26 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays – pro rata), which increase with service
  • Excellent pension schemes
  • RNIB Rewards - Our employee discounts platform gives you access to offers at over 800 in-store and online retailers
  • In-house training and development opportunities
  • Flexible working arrangements - Each new member of staff will be given a laptop to make working flexibly easy
