Job Purpose:
The Business Intelligence team sit at the heart of Formula E, working with all business units to undertake primary research to produce data and insight to help support decision making. The purpose of the Insight Executive will be to support the team in managing primary quantitative research projects as well as analysing and reporting on data and insights.
Key Deliverables:
The Insight Executive will report to the Senior Insight Manager, supporting the delivery of actionable insight on a range of topics such as our fans, events, marketing, communications, and commercial partnerships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role is tasked with supporting stakeholders (within Business Intelligence and the wider Formula E team) by delivering actionable, easy-to-understand insight.
- Key responsibilities are to support commercial, events and marketing stakeholders with reporting needs
- Day to day responsibilities include full management of primary quantitative research studies; from sample and questionnaire design, scripting surveys, managing fieldwork, analysing large datasets, synthesising findings with secondary data sources, to insight creation
- Operational responsibility on behalf of the team such as managing survey and analysis platforms, coordinating with stakeholders in the lead up to events, delivering post-event reports etc
- Role will require some travel to race events, on which occasion the candidate will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders and managing all research during the event
Role Requirements:
Experience required
- Previous experience working in a quantitative market research role, agency-side preferable
- Experience designing and running global, primary research studies, knowledge of a range of quantitative research methodologies
- Experience of analysing large data sets and producing regular reports
- Experience of creating insight for both internal and external stakeholders, and adept at engaging data novices
- Experience of working on global projects, with understanding on how to adapt research to different markets is preferable
- Able to multi-task and balance a mix of regular and ad hoc projects
- No experience (or interest) in Motorsport required
Skills and aptitudes required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Proficient using survey platforms (Qualtrics, Decipher, or equivalent)
- Experience using data analysis software (Q, Displayr, etc) preferred
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Ability to create concise insights from a raw dataset or multiple sources of data

Educational attainment
