Strategic Advisor

Location: Head Office – London
Salary: £42,672.98 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,127. There is the ability to progress to £48,583.76 over the next 3 years.
Length: A fixed-term contract until the next UK General Election.

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Strategic Advisor. The post-holder will be responsible for deepening the Labour Party’s understanding of key audiences and use this insight to inform policy, communications and engagement strategies.

The successful candidate will have: Strong understanding of the research tools and methods for conducting research with different race, faith, and community groups, including methods to maximise engagement of ‘less heard’ audiences; Significant experience in designing and delivering qualitative and quantitative research projects; Experience in presenting data and analysis to senior stakeholders; able to distil complex data into clear points and recommendations; and excellent time-management and prioritisation skills – able to work at-pace in a busy political and media landscape.
