BD Director (US Markets) - Strategic Insights Consultancy

Huge opportunity for a UK based BD Director/commercial leader with strong new business skills to develop further revenue opportunities for this award winning, international digitally innovative strategic insights consultancy.

With an existing EMEA and USA presence, and continuing to enjoy superb growth, this group wants to build on its success in recent years by widening its US client base. Multi award winners, this group is recognised for having successfully blended delivery of custom research insights via digital innovation, which has already won them an enviable client roster. Whilst they do have USA offices, this role will ideally be UK based - but will accommodate both flexibility re hours and required US travel - and you'll be working very closely with the Growth Team's senior management in sourcing/capturing additional business opportunities.

For now this will be a standalone sales roles so it does require a 'seller' as opposed to purely a team manager - although there will be opportunities to perhaps grow that aspect further along. Ideally then you'll have already gained proven revenue generation experience - particularly in new business - within the market research, insights or similar sectors, probably with some exposure to US markets/global brands.

The attraction for this role is you're not joining a start-up - the group is now well established - but equally there aren't the confines, barriers and top heavy/infrastructural challenges you encounter with larger insights firms which often lose that entrepreneurial flair as a result. If you know how to bring on new business, are up to speed with the more innovative, tech based approaches within the insights industry, seeks a flexible working style, have an 'in' with US markets, and can really demonstrate previous strong sales, this might be a shrewd move.
