Our client is a fast growing insight-led strategic advisory firm dedicated to putting public and stakeholder opinion at the heart of their clients' thinking. Their research methodologies span all qualitative and quantitative techniques and they have a diverse client base across the private, public and third sectors.
With a pre-eminent senior team with expertise across strategic communications, political research, brand development and consumer engagement, they have always led the way on consultation type research and their continued success means they are seeking to hire researchers across all levels of the business.
We are keen to speak to research directors with a mixed methods background and our client would be very interested in those with communications research experience (including upstream research to inform communications, creative development and testing research, and campaign evaluation). Even better if this experience is in a public sector context and/or relates to communicating on sensitive or challenging issues with audiences that may be hard to reach, such as vulnerable or low incidence audiences.
As a Research Director you will be responsible for ensuring the story and implications for clients, you will find your own ways to build networks and relationships, whether through sector specialism, building your own profile, growing and extending strong relationships with existing clients, or a combination thereof. You will lead the standard in proposal writing and hold ultimate responsibility for delivery on projects. RDs are the trusted point of contact for the senior client. Highly visible on their projects, and engaged in design, fieldwork, and analysis, RDs ensure projects are profitable, and that they genuinely deliver for clients.
Internally, RDs work together to run the company’s teams. They have strong oversight of the development targets of team members, and support them to meet those targets. Commercially astute, RDs are also responsible for the financial performance of the team, managing their client P&L for their projects and driving growth to meet revenue targets. RDs typically line manage the ADs and RLs in their team.
If you are keen to join a dynamic and forward looking business and have most if not all the attributes outlined here then we would be very keen to speak to you and tell you more.
We are a recruitment consultancy specialising in executive positions within the market research and other related industries. The word consultancy is chosen with care as we are not a paperpunting agency. We always offer honest, considered advice and appropriate introductions.
