This is a challenging and exciting role within a friendly and committed insight team with a mix of research experience and disabilities. It’s the main contact for the Scope Research Panel and is responsible for maintaining this highly valued resource.

The role

The Scope panel support team are involved in all aspects of the charity’s work. Panellists take part in a variety of projects, including website content testing, the appeal and accessibility of campaigns and fundraising events, and as consultants when businesses want to engage with disabled people.

The panel lead manages the workload of the support team and talks with our panellists every day to offer opportunities to engage with the charity. The role advises other teams on how to incorporate disabled people’s views within their projects. It’s also responsible for growing the panel and making it as reflective of the population of disabled people in England and Wales as possible.

About you

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to degree level, preferably with a research element English Language and Maths GCSEs, or an acceptable equivalent qualification Have at least two years direct experience of running a community, recruitment or tracking panel Have experience of managing projects to timelines and working in a team environment Have proven ability to learn new IT software tools Have knowledge of GDPR legislation and other data protection requirements We ask you to show an appreciation of Scope’s values and our ambition of everyday equality for disabled people.
