Established in 2019, we have grown rapidly and we’re now looking to strengthen our team with the addition of a new Research Manager. This is an exciting time to join the business, as we continue to grow. Our research projects are highly varied. Just a few recent examples include employer surveys, programme evaluations, literature reviews, market analyses and development of new educational standards.

About the role

Harlow Consulting is a rapidly growing, ambitious business with a vision to provide innovative research which makes a lasting impact. You’ll have the opportunity to make an important contribution to the growth of our business early on in your career with us. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic who fits in well to our culture, with the ability to lead and motivate members of the research team.

As Research Manager, you’ll be instrumental to the successful delivery of research projects at Harlow Consulting. You will work with a large amount of autonomy, designing, managing, and delivering research from end-to-end, overseeing researchers and associates and ensuring project objectives are met. You’ll need to plan resourcing and manage the project team effectively to deliver the research objectives.

The role requires expertise across multiple research techniques, including desk-based research, telephone depth interviewing, survey design, focus groups, qualitative and quantitative data analysis and creation of insightful and engaging research outputs.

As a Research Manager, you will also win work from new and existing clients, so you’ll be well versed in writing proposals or securing new business via other routes. You will be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and be adaptable to changing requirements.
