Are you an experienced research professional?

Do you want to use your social research skills to help make the transport system better for everyone?

If so, we don’t miss out on these exciting opportunities at the Department for Transport (DfT) and we would like you to apply.

Job description:

Social research and evaluation at the Department for Transport are about applying established and innovative research and evaluation methods to high-profile, national policy challenges. This includes improving transport for users, levelling up the UK and reducing transport emissions for the Net Zero carbon agenda.

Transport matters: it doesn’t just help people get around, it helps them get on, and will play a critical role in delivering the Government’s ‘levelling up’ agenda.

That’s why the work of the DfT is so important. Transport is part of all our lives, and the department knows that robust evidence is key to successful policy development and delivery. This is a critical time to join the DfT as we have a challenging and innovative agenda to deliver.

In addition, we would like you to meet some of our team, so we have arranged an online recruitment event on Tuesday 5th July at 18:30 - 19:15 for interested applicants who would like to find out more about this post and the important role that our Senior Researchers plays in the work of DfT. Book your place at this event via Eventbrite here.

Closing date: 11:55pm, Sunday 17th July 2022.
