The growing policy and evaluation unit of this global organisation bridge the gap between government and the public and have an outstanding reputation for providing robust evidence-based recommendations to help to set policy priorities, strengthen their delivery and analyse their overall effectiveness within society.

As the Qual Research Manager you will work within the Crime, Cohesion and Security team helping to deliver some of the most interesting and impactful research across crime, justice, immigration and asylum and counter terrorism. You will use your interest and/or background in social policy and consultancy to work across a range of projects with a range of audiences including the public, staff and stakeholders. You will be responsible for running large scale complex projects as well as smaller, fast turnaround briefs from briefing through to insight presentation, utilising your expertise in qualitative methodologies.

Strong experience running primary qualitative research will be essential. You will be a pro at writing discussion guides and moderating focus groups as well as being confident using other methods such as depth interviews and ethnography to uncover hidden truths and make impactful recommendations to clients. Strong project management skills will also be a must, as will an understanding on the sector and a demonstrable interest in public affairs and evaluation projects.
