Being a Researcher

As a Researcher in our Customer Experience and Behaviour Change Team you’ll be a valued member of a small team with the opportunity to influence and build a varied portfolio of research.

This post is graded 5-6 and candidates with a range of skills and experience will be considered. The post therefore offers a good opportunity for career progression for the right person.

Remote working can be considered with a requirement to attend meetings at our offices in Maidstone or around the County of Kent.  

What you’ll do

  • Use a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to undertake primary and secondary research about people;
  • Work alongside passionate and knowledgeable colleagues across a broad spectrum of projects;
  • Undertake research which supports effective initiatives that encourage safer behaviours by our customers;
  • Gain customer insight to help the organisation provide the best possible customer service.

What you’ll bring

  • Skills and experience in using research to understand people and their needs;
  • Experience of working directly with customers and stakeholders to improve services;
  • Confidence to be able to influence and support improvements to both internal and external services;
  • A degree in a relevant subject with a strong research or social sciences focus is essential.
