Insight and Research Manager for This Can Happen Insight

Part of the This Can Happen Group

This Can Happen is an organisation that works with employers to support the Mental Health and wellbeing of their people. This Can Happen has established a market research division to support its growing client base and their need to understand the mental health of their colleagues.

Portfolio of products includes:

  • This Can Happen Index/Research
  • The Retreat – 24 hour residential for senior leaders

The role will support the delivery of all research and insight solutions including the This Can Happen Index and Listening groups. It is a hands-on role where all areas of the project management cycle could be needed based on the different products that we offer our clients. We propose research based on the client needs and this could be a purely quantitative approach, purely qualitative or a blended approach.

Our clients are generally in the wellbeing space either as a primary role or as an addition to their core role but all are passionate about supporting the Mental Health of their colleagues and want to use research and insight to understand more about the needs and wants of their people.

A core solution is the This Can Happen Index which is a measurement solution for employers to understand the effectiveness of their Mental Health interventions through a benchmarking-based tracking study.  This is in pilot stage currently and will run twice a year from 2022.

The role and qualifications:

Working with the Research and Insight Director to set up, project manage and report the Index with a portfolio of clients. This will include:

  • Liaising with the technical team
  • Supporting clients with queries when live
  • Data review and reporting

Client relationships are a priority so there will be lots of opportunity to work with the clients and understand their data needs and reporting needs.

You should have at least 4+ years experience of working in market research and had responsibility for project delivery, client management, supplier liaison and results analysis. Business Development would be an advantage. We are currently exploring the option of a full time role or a part time more experienced role so all applications welcomed which will be reviewed on merit.

Ad hoc research:

We offer ad hoc research which to date has been listening groups, insight review papers to collate views on a topic and bespoke quantitative surveys to understand an issue in the organisation.

Conference:

There is the potential to support on an agenda item for the London 2022 conference featuring the Index

  • Powerpoint
  • Excel skills – manage databases and prospect lists
  • Use of online reporting tools an advantage
  • Ability to be home based and happy to work autonomously with support
  • Ability to work flexible hours as longer hours are required around the events

This role will be homebased with the need to meet colleagues and clients on a regular basis. We encourage flexible working and how this is achieved is for open discussion.
