Marketing and External Affairs need a highly experienced market research and insight professional who can lead an insight team to contribute to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the Coventry University Group by providing high quality, robust market research and timely delivery of analytical insight and horizon scanning to impact on and support decision making and external communications.

With an interest in human behaviour and understanding why people do what they do,  you will have a passion for data and insight and have experience of using it to support businesses and organisations to make evidence-based decisions.  Your role will be critical for representing and championing the voices of our varied audiences across the student journey and putting these at the heart of marketing and organisational decision making.

Person Specification:

  • Hold a degree in relevant subject area or equivalent level experience.
  • Experience of working in market research, collating, analysing and presenting data and recommendations.
  • Experience of coordinating and managing qualitative and quantitative market research.
  • Experience of using multiple online or third party data sources for research development.
  • Experience of questionnaire design and using sophisticated questionnaire design/analysis software.
  • Highly numerate with experience of analysing large and complex datasets
  • Strong understanding of key legislation e.g. FOI, IP, GDPR, CMA, and MRS compliance (accuracy in respect of consumer law).
