Central London or Midlands (Hybrid, 1-2 office in days in either office) - £45-£48,500 + strong benefits

A high profile, not-for-profit membership organisation and representative body is looking for a senior research professional lead and grow their Research & Evaluation team. The organisation has an extensive membership of a profession that improves and changes lives and its work is wide-ranging - promoting the profession and its impact, influencing policy-makers, recognising achievements in the field, ensuring diversity and inclusion in the sector and representing the interests of their members.

Leading the Research & Evaluation team, this is a fantastic opportunity to be instrumental in formulating research strategy at a time of significant investment in the transformation of the organisation. You will lead high-profile flagship quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation projects on a diverse range of issues that affect their members and the wider sector. Skilled in the design and management of projects, you will bring together and disseminate research and data to provide insights, reports and recommendations that will help shape service provision, marketing strategy and policy decisions.

This role has both an internal and external outlook, working with stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external strategic partners and agencies, requiring the ability to effectively identify, build relationships, communicate with and influence a range of audiences. Team management skills are also desirable to further develop and motivate a team to deliver innovative and high-quality research.

At either Research Manager or Associate Director level, agency or clientside, you should have a sound grounding in a wide range of research and evaluation methods (both quantitative and qualitative) and be well-versed in developing bespoke research to address complex policy or strategy and marketing issues. Experience gained working with charity, not-for-profit, public or service sector clients is welcomed but not essential.
