FieldworkHub is a London-based market research fieldwork agency offering research services with a focus on quality and client service. We undertake mostly qualitative research across multiple markets, helping our clients to identify and capitalise on insights within the consumer, B2B, technology and healthcare industries. As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced business development manager to join our friendly and motivated team.

We’re looking for a versatile and tenacious sales professional with a minimum of 2-3 years’ sales experience in market research or a similar industry. You will need to demonstrate consultative sales skills and the ability to prospect, generate leads, build lasting client relationships and close deals. You should be a highly motivated individual who is able to contribute to our ambitious growth plans. You will receive commission on the gross profit from projects that you sell.

Key responsibilities

  • Reaching out to potential new clients with the aim of building relationships that encourage them to consider FieldworkHub as a market research supplier
  • Building and maintaining these relationships so that clients continue to regard FieldworkHub is a trusted research partner
  • Assessing the feasibility of requests, offering advice on research design and timelines and preparing quotes to win projects (at target gross profit margin)
  • Ensuring that your projects are delivered in a way that meets or exceeds clients’ expectations.

Key qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of sales experience in market research or a similar industry (international experience is desirable but not essential) to include:
  • Ability to think creatively about methods and approaches
  • Capable of multitasking and working independently with limited supervision
  • Good prioritisation and time management skills, flexibility to adapt to changes in work duties, responsibilities, and requirements
  • Outgoing and tenacious personality, a team-player with a proven ability to commit to success in achieving outstanding goals
  • Confidence in navigating the buying process in large organizations
  • Desirable but not essential – understanding of qualitative research to be able to answer the range of clients’ marketing questions
  • Desirable but not essential – foreign language skills (particularly French, Italian or Spanish)
  • Winning attitude!

Location

  • Central London (current office is 5 mins’ walk from Victoria)
  • Expect home working for at least 2-3 days per week for the foreseeable future
