Research Officer - £26,000 pro rata - 3 month contract: potential Temp to Perm - London

This company comprises an organisation of people who want to speak up and amplify the voices of those within the criminal justice system. They are focused on the people experiencing the sharp end of criminal justice, and therefore work alongside, rather than within, the system. Whilst this is a 3 month contract, there is an opportunity for the role to go temporary to permanent.

Since beginning their journey in 2009, they have grown significantly and now function across 5 regional teams. Their research projects use insight from those within criminal justice to influence fundamental changes to reform systems. Such projects have a proven positive impact on participants as a result of peer-led approaches and real-life insight.

This is a broad and rewarding role where you will be provided with the ideal platform to challenge the status quo. As a Research Manager you will encompass both qualitative and quantitative research within prisons and probation. This will involve:

- Designing, managing and reporting on research that addresses the most significant issues for those within the criminal justice system.
- Working closely with the Engagement Team, Head of Research, and their broad scope of clients.

You'll do great if you combine the following experience, skills and attributes:

- Eager to make a difference to those experiencing the sharp end of criminal justice.
- Experience with mixed-method research; qualitative or quantitative only experience will also be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven IT skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and survey software.
- The ability to analyse and report on qualitative and quantitative research.
- A capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
