About the role

We are seeking to recruit a Market Research Manager to join our Regulatory Futures Directorate.

The Market Research Manager will lead on building the ICO’s market research function. They will commission and manage market research for the ICO, playing an integral role in ensuring the ICO delivers an evidence-based and outcome focused approach to policy making, based on a strong understanding of public attitudes and concerns.

About you

You will be knowledgeable on a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and experienced at procuring and managing research to provide high quality, compelling and robust outputs.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the ICO. You will foster and maintain relationships with senior ICO stakeholders, research agencies and external stakeholders and be able to draw on and integrate the expertise of others.

You will be able to quickly get to grips with issues, identifying the evidence gaps and providing expertise on how to fill those gaps in timely, thoughtful and value for money ways.
