Exciting opportunity for an exponent in quantitative data to take on a Statistics Director role at this renowned social research organisation!

As a member of the policy research team, this Statistics Director opportunity will have you overseeing the delivery of sampling and weighting through project management. You will work on sample designs and the calculation of survey weights, supervise the work of the statisticians, provide statistical input on quantitative research projects and direct methodological projects

Ideally as a Statistics Director you'll possibly have a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Survey Methodology, or a quantitative social science background or other discipline with substantial statistical content; or have equivalent knowledge gained through experience. Most likely you'll be working in applied social research (in market research, government, other public/voluntary sector, or academia), and have a good understanding of appropriate methodological approaches to data collection, sampling and weighting. Familiarity with SPSS, R, Stata or a similar statistical package (with experience of scripting/coding) is prerequisite too.
