Director of Analysis (Secondary Data) - Social Research

Exciting opportunity for an exponent in secondary data to take on a Director of Analysis role at this renowned social research organisation!

As a member of the policy research leadership team, this Director of Analysis opportunity will see you develop and direct their secondary data analysis programme, building out a portfolio of high-quality studies and strengthening relationships with key partners and funders. Managing a small team of specialist analysts, as Director of Analysis you'll also oversee the building of analytical capability across the organisation, plus implement training and development for both specialist and generalist analysts. In addition you'll be working alongside some leading figures in social research.

Ideally the Director of Analysis should have a track record of designing, directing and delivering complex secondary analysis projects for government customers and grant-funding bodies, an excellent understanding of quantitative analysis methods and their use, evidence of bidding for and winning research contracts and/or research grants, and most likely experience of conducting analysis and/or research in key policy areas like education, children and families, work, welfare, health, mental health, crime and justice, communities. You'll also be passionate about communicating such research findings to a wide audience.
