The Client

A leading global consumer insight agency with offices in London and New York is looking to hire an experienced qualitative researcher. This agency’s mission is to generate momentum for big brands, helping leading brands understand the challenges they face and how to overcome them, using the creative application of consumer insight. Their work is primarily qual focused however they have more recently started using quant and other data sources such as social listening and cultural experts.

The Role

• Opportunity to lead on large strategic projects with global brands across a variety of sectors (FMCG, automotive, retail, financial)
• Project types include brand positioning, brand development, product innovation and communication
• Leading insight through the full project process, including writing and presenting debrief materials
• Working across an array of qual methodologies – ethnography, workshops, focus groups
• Engaging in business development opportunities – writing and winning proposals & developing key client relationships to build business through existing clients

The Candidate

• 6+ years working in qualitative research with a experience across a range of methodologies (ethnography would be a bonus)
• Any quantitative research experience will be beneficial, as would international experience
• Strong commercial/business acumen
• Business development experience
• Entrepreneurial ambition
