Job Details

Are you a quantitative researcher, who likes the deep dive analysis of research and is looking to work on complex longitudinal studies?

You will have strong research method and analytic skills and be extremely comfortable working with data. Alongside their in-house method team, this team works on some of some of the largest, most complex studies for government and academia, including the Crime Survey for England and Wales, Understanding Society, and the Community Life Survey. They also work on a broad range of smaller and mid-range ad hoc research projects covering a variety of policy areas including science, energy, pensions and personal finance, energy, and transport.

The client are a global leader in providing the evidence and capability to inspire better public policies, services and communications. They welcome sector specialisms and will give you the opportunity to develop this further. They are open to researchers from a commercial background, looking to get into public sector research.

Project Leadership

A key aspect to the role. You will have responsibility for delivering research across the whole project life-cycle. It's essential that not only the outputs are innovative, but the whole process is thoroughly researched and quality assured.

Team Management

Within the senior leadership team, you will share responsibility of managing a whole team, having a direct line management responsibility of a small team of researchers.

Business Development

Due to their longitudinal studies and the relationships that they have built over the years, knocking on doors is not a core aspect to this role. They are looking for an energetic team player who will support in the development and implementation of their business plans with existing clients but moreover, it is important for this individual to be able to build long-lasting key relationships with key stakeholders and teams within the department. This isn't about developing new business.

Global Thought Leadership

As part of the senior leadership team of not only this team, but within the whole company, your role here is essential to building links and relationships with the wider global network by adding thought leadership to their innovation and insight capabilities, supporting and representing the company.
