Job Details

This is an ad-hoc data analysis role. An exciting role that not only encompasses core programming languages across Microsoft Access / SQL / Python / R / SAS but on top of that; requires commercial acumen to help your clients directly with their queries and deep dive further than the continuous data by having essential shopper market intelligence to benchmark findings against other data sources (IRI / Worldpanel / dunnhumby / Nielsen).

In this role, you will be working across their consumer panels, helping to investigate and find data based insights and explanations to specific inbound client questions. You will work across the teams to help shape their data analysis and analytics capabilities.

Their panels represent the GB shopper, in all they buy and do, so you will be working with a wealth of purchasing (products bought, prices paid) and behavioural (survey responses, attitudes, demographics), as well as 3rd party data.

Excellent analysis and communication skills are essential, but we would also like a creative and imaginative individual, who is able to approach problems in new ways and offer innovative solutions. This is a great job for someone who wants to be able to express their creative side, to develop new analysis capabilities and to apply their work on projects with major client companies. A great opportunity to work and play around with a huge amount of data.

Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and background in Mathematics, Statistics or other adjacent fields of science desirable.

About the client:

They are known for being a global expert in shoppers' behaviour. Through continuous monitoring, advanced analytics and tailored solutions, they work across 60+ markets, turning purchasing behaviour into useful insight for their clients within FMCG, entertainment, fashion and more. Through their own consumer panels, they monitor shopper and usage patterns on a continuous basis to help truly understand what consumers do, how they behave and how to adapt client strategies around this.
