We're looking for a financial services director to join one of the biggest names in the customer experience research space. You'll be joining a specialist insight team, working with senior clients and senior stakeholders across the consultancy. They're looking for a research expert but also someone who can build relationships and collaboration between teams.

The client:

A big 4 management consultancy with a great history in providing insight-driven solutions are expanding their research offering. They're looking for a well experienced quantitative researcher director to mentor, develop and lead a team of insight professionals, alongside developing and maintaining internal and external relationships, to ensure continued success on often long-standing programmes. This is an opportunity to support the senior client servicing management team in developing organisational capabilities and drive success in areas of expertise beyond client work.

The role:

The role has a specific focus on "insights" (combining primary research with customer data, analytics and technology) and will suit a researcher that is comfortable with every stage of a research project from the initial commission to final insights delivery. As a director you will be expected to have end-to-end ownership of the client lifecycle, from originating new opportunities, leading pitches / proposals, to overseeing accounts and long-term relationships. The majority of clients you will manage will be from large financial services businesses, including retail banks, insurance brands, fintech brands & investment banks, and will require an individual that is confident and capable of building lasting relationships.

We'll be looking for someone with a strong commercial outlook and considerable knowledge within the financial services sector as you will be actively contributing towards thought leadership and acting as a publicly acknowledged public expert for insights & customer experience. With a really diverse client list, you will work on vastly varied projects using their extensive toolkit selection. The key to this role is understanding what the client needs and delivering this consistently.

Demonstrated the ability to deliver actionable insights with significant benefit to clients
The ability to develop and mentor a team to your high standards of research
Demonstrated the ability to work with senior stakeholders
Driven innovation and push insights right to the top of the table
Strong quantitative research skills
Financial services sector experience
