Research Manager | Health and Sport
We are working with a thriving public sector comms agency in Central London. They're a specialist consultancy that provide insight to Governments, pressure groups, charities, think tanks and the media. They are looking to grow the team with researchers who are strong in quantitative research, who have experience with qualitative.
They don't just see themselves as a traditional market research agency, they pride themselves on a consultancy focused approach across reputation, policy and communications. Although the research skills are very important, alongside this, they are looking for consultants who have a good wider knowledge of the industry (or at least want to learn about it more).
The role is working on a range of health and sport clients. In this team, the role is working with a large range of charities and Government organisations from the NHS through to the Olympics and Paralympics.
As a company, their research feeds into a range of applications within comms, from identifying potential audiences and helping to provide a framework for a comms strategy, to message development, comms evaluation, and providing content for PR. The projects range from large scale, strategic projects which employ analysis such as segmentations and regression through to quick turnaround projects on a panel. The insights dramatically effect day to day life for a range of issues, from the running of NHS to the growing problem with obesity. A lot of their projects are international and research global topics, such as the Paralympics and sport across the globe.
