Senior Data Scientist - World Class Media Research Agency

Brand new role within the data science unit of a global agency with a focus on delivering in-depth insight to marketers, media agencies and the media themselves across all their audiences and platforms.

All projects are bespoke and complex, providing a refreshing variety of intellectual and technical challenges for you to get your teeth into and solve. The media and related industries (television, radio, print, online, outdoor, mobile, entertainment, music, telecoms and technology) have embraced the phenomenal power of Big Data more than most and as such this specialist unit has seen unprecedented demand for their services, as reflected in the team’s growth and the  expansion of their client base globally.

As well as being hands on with the advanced analytics, they will be looking to you to seek out and develop new capabilities across the space, embracing all areas such as Big Data, passive measurement technologies, complex modelling, data visualisation, data integration and calibration methodologies.

As this is a new role, the client is open to level. At the more senior end you will be working independently on solutions building or it may be you are looking to grow into such a role. You will be confident with programming in R statistical computing environment (if not R, then Python) and specific experience in probability theory and linear algorithms is required as this runs through the offering.
