Lead on the planning and management of data processing operations for international survey research projects at this global market research firm. As part of their social/policy research unit, you’ll be with a team whose work covers international studies across policy areas with a wide range of multi-national organisations including the European Commission, UN bodies, international financial institutions, aid departments, foundations and NGOs. Your job will be to manage the data processing teams in UK/Europe plus cover relationships with clients regarding data-related issues to ensure high-quality data deliverables. With focus on improving processes, you’ll use different statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R), to prepare and quality assure samples (using primarily SPSS and Excel), and also employ data management and reporting tools (e.g. designing macros and plots in excel, power point charting tools); effectively you’ll be leading data governance for several complex survey projects.
