The bread and butter work of this brilliant boutique agency is to help in the development and evaluation of advertising and communications, aimed at encouraging people to behave in socially desirable ways (avoiding childhood obesity, preventing STIs or teen pregnancy, reducing knife crime or encouraging financial provision for the future for example)
Many of their social marketing clients are big hitting government departments or agencies but they turn their hand to other strands of research (typically branding or NPD) and also work for the occasional commercial client to keep things fresh.
Their creativity and uncompromising approach to quality and delivery has proved highly successful and they have some substantial (and hugely interesting) research programmes expected later in the year so they are looking to add another senior qualitative researcher to their talented team.
The role will give you the opportunity to work on inspiring issues and might suit a disillusioned ad planner, a fast-learning RM or an AD who is looking for a role where the emphasis is on thoughtful research and creativity, rather than business development. If you enjoy coaching and mentoring juniors that would be a definite bonus.
The successful candidate is likely to have at least five years’ qualitative research experience (in a commercial rather than academic setting), with significant involvement in research design and proposal writing, plus plenty of spark and the capacity for high-level strategic thinking.
