The client
We are working with one of the world's best-known British media brands. This business has transformed in recent years as a result of digital becoming more popular than print, but they have managed to increase readership through research and being at the forefront of utilising big data. The role is focused around understanding the crux of readers behaviours and their motivations and using insights for new development. This role sits within the heart of the team, feeding back insights to directly mould the launch of new products, tools and features.
The role
Sitting in the product and technology team the customer research manager will work with multiple stakeholders, including product managers, product designer and engineers. You'll have responsibility for qualitative and quantitative research across their website and app. I'll be the go-to person for customer/user research, you'll use your expert research skills to design & manage research that hits stakeholders' briefs.
This team spot opportunities to improve the user experience, this goes from initial insight generation through to prototyping, user testing, iterating and rolling out new features. This team have directly developed some of this businesses' most popular new app and website features. If you enjoy seeing your insights come to life this is the role for you!
Skills
3 years plus experience
User research (UX) experience
Quantitative and qualitative research skills
Knowledge of conventional market research methods, knowledge of sampling and weighting to ensure projects are statistically significant.
Strong influencing and communication skills
