Lead the research function of this prominent oversight regulator that covers national policy bodies for the professional services sector. You'll scope, manage and deliver substantial pieces of research work, champion the findings and insights and push for them to be taken into account in policy making, plus manage a small team. This is a Head of Research equivalent role where you'll have direct interaction with the board, and alongside traditional research skills, you'll be someone who knows how to market the projects you're working on in order for them to earn wider hearing across the policy bodies this organisation oversees (to thus substantiate decisions taken by the oversight regulator itself) alongside numerous associated groups. Skillswise you'll be a predominantly quantitative specialist with experience of both commissioning plus conducting some inhouse study. You'll also most likely have a background in social research, plus have policy knowledge too. If you're looking for a influential leadership role in social research, this is a great opportunity to promote impactful results to a broad audience.
