(Senior) Research Project Manager, International Studies - Social Sector | F2F/Telephone

Unusual opportunity for a research oriented project manager to focus on international social/public sector studies. In the context of globalisation and global social governance, social research can no longer confine itself to national boundaries and our client's international social research practice has embraced this, growing rapidly in the last few years and now looking to expand further.

Projects include anything from large-scale surveys covering both industrialised and industrialising countries, as well as fragile and conflict-affected states to qualitative studies using a range of traditional and innovative online and offline methodologies. Clients are across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors including the European Commission, the UN and its agencies, multilateral institutions and agencies, international financial institutions, foundations and NGOs.

They seek a researcher with very strong project managements skills to play a key role in managing high profile projects with involvement at all stages. You will be an expert across F2F and telephone modes and whilst direct social sector experience is not essential, you will need to be passionate about the wider world and different cultures. If you have language skills in addition to English, this will be the perfect environment to use and enhance them and there will be some opportunity for travel. You will enjoy working in a creative, busy, open and supportive environment within a house of influentials.
