About the Role

GlobalWebIndex runs the largest market research study on the digital consumer and we need to ensure we are also the industry leader for research methods and data quality.

GlobalWebIndex surveys over 550,000 consumers each year in 45 countries around the world. We have launched our own chat bot survey platform for mobile, we are building our own panel of respondents and we continue to develop innovative methodologies for blending active and passive data.

This innovation needs to progress alongside an obsession with quality. We are seeking a Research Quality Manager / Knowledge Research Manager to lead this dedication to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Survey Best Practice: Evaluate academic and industry literature to inform GWI’s innovations in research methodology, survey design and respondent experience.
  • Quotas: Research the profiles of internet populations around the world and recommend representative quotas to ensure our data is robust.
  • Weighting: Work with our Data Science team to investigate and implement robust weighting methodologies that maintain data quality.
  • Benchmarking: Track research innovations in the industry and evaluate GWI’s strategy for remaining a leader in best practice.

Experience & Qualities Desired

  • 3-4 years’ experience in the market research industry
  • Keen interest in research methods and quality, with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience working with weighting methodologies and multi-market survey data
  • Ability to make recommendations which will shape the direction of the department and company, and convince stakeholders why the approach is the right one
  • Formal training in research practices (e.g. MRS, ESOMAR)
  • Interest in engaging with academic and industry literature
  • Enthusiasm for leading a team of researchers
  • Availability to work in London (UK)
