Research Executive / Senior Research Exec, Qualitative - Branding & Design
With offices in London and New York City and conducting research across five continents, this independent qual boutique provides global insight and consumer-grounded branding and design guidance for many of the world's most recognisable brands. They have pioneered an extensive range of innovative insight methodologies across multiple disciplines including packaging, visual brand language, innovation and strategy.
With a good grounding in qualitative techniques, you will be able to actively contribute from inception to delivery. You'll be keen to consult with your clients on areas such as packaging decisions, whether a logo pulls the right strings or how to rebrand and relaunch an existing product. It would be brilliant if you have already had the opportunity to moderate focus groups, but if this is to be the next step, then your passion and natural ability to communicate will serve you well.
Design is a major part of what they do, so you will need to be someone innately interested in labels and branding and why/how they adapt to changing markets. Having said this, they are certainly not expecting you to be an expert in this area yet - more they are offering you the opportunity to become one. Training (both internal and external) will be provided, along with a structured induction plan and ongoing mentoring system. You will be in the enviable position of working with some of the most knowledgeable and respected practitioners in research and they have great fun too!
