This friendly, well established, well regarded market research agency conducts a number of large, on-going, international survey programmes.
They provide regular, in-depth reporting to their clients, creating these reports using automated reporting.
That’s where you come in. Your key focus will be organising and maintaining the databases derived from these surveys (which often have complex, evolving datamaps) and using your VBA skills to create and maintain report automation processes.
You will also be running ad hoc analysis, extracting, re-coding, computing and manipulating data.
The small advanced methods team (three people) advise on research design, weighting or complex cross tabs, analyse their client’s own data and run advanced analyses.
They also get involved with cutting-edge technologies, anything from text mining, image processing and data modelling to web development.
This means you will have opportunities to grow and develop and will be mentored by the team head.
The successful candidate will have at least a year’s commercial experience in a similar field, most likely data processing/manipulation and will already be able to build and modify VBA macros.
Advanced Excel and data manipulation in SPSS are also highly advantageous.
You will also need a good understanding of the management of data and databases, how to check data and how to organize data efficiently.
