Qualitative Consultant – Social Market Research

They have an opportunity for a Qualitative Research Consultant to join their smart, ambitious and impressive team in Melbourne, working across key issues:

This year alone that have worked on projects to improve Australia’s road safety, environment, social cohesion, immigration, financial literacy, discrimination and anti-social bystander behaviour. Their focus is to develop strategies and policies to help the Australian community thrive.

As a Qualitative Consultant, you will be the key point of contact on client accounts (not-for profits and government bodies) working closely with a senior Director. You will receive top quality training and development.

You will be hands on in running projects end-to-end with a focus on; taking briefs, running qualitative research (moderating focus groups, IDIs, online communities, workshops and cognitive interviewing), to insight generation, reporting and presenting.

This is an important role within the organisation and its imperative that you have a genuine interest in Social Research and understanding human behaviour. You are driven by adding value and supporting the community and strive to think innovatively and creatively.

Is essential that you have:

• Prior Social or Market Research experience in a client facing and qualitative capacity
• A strong ability to moderate groups and IDIs independently
• Exceptional insight and storytelling skills
• High level communication skills
• Natural curiously
• Team management experience would be desirable
