Job Details

This is not your typical qual role. We're looking for an established Director to join a leading consultancy to provide qualitative thought leadership to a successful and growing team. You will contribute your qual knowledge to the team in order to help create well-rounded proposals.

They boast an impressive track record with a global client base. They have explored sectors including automotive, tech through to media. They have a range of specialisms across innovation, segmentation, social listening and brand positioning.

Their briefs cover challenges such as diversifying alcohol categories, inventing brand extensions and challenging markets with new products. Their aim is to completely redefine sales and marketing by investigating cultural relevance in today's diverse world.

A drink doesn't have to be pink and sparkly to appeal to women. Instead, they will strategise the marketing campaigns to understand what demographics actually want. It's all about redefining what the consumers find appealing, through qual.

Positioned within a small team of qual specialists, you will also find yourself working with brand consultants, trends experts, strategists and creative planners. Your role here will be providing insight internally to teams on the full spectrum of human insight qualitative approaches, from traditional focus groups, depths to digital ethnography and co-creation.

Externally, it's developing client relationships. Bringing a consumer/human angle to a range of challenges.

There is some opportunity for hands on research. But this role is for the thinkers, someone who understands brands and more importantly, how consumers react with them. You will be able to interpret complex challenges and be able to consider it from multiple viewpoints, tying this in with the latest research.

As you'll be working alongside some of the best brains in the industry, it's an opportunity to brainstorm, develop creative ideas and learn. They have a huge amount of support, resources as well as passion for the work that they do. (And fantastic offices).

An unrivalled opportunity to try something different for 12 months. Apply below.
