Job Details

Are you looking to start an intellectually demanding career in market research?  Fascinated by how people make decisions? Interested in medical matters? Hoping for a role which will use your analytical, people and communications skills? This could be the ideal role for you….

Voted “Medical Market Research Agency of the Year” last year, this fast-paced, successful, market research agency now needs another talented researcher.

Joining them at entry level, you will be fully trained and will be working as part of a team to design and run market research projects, interviewing medical professionals, analysing and interpreting verbal responses or numerical data and distilling this into a succinct and compelling story for the client.

Their research is both qualitative and quantitative in nature and the kinds of questions they address include:

  • How should a new, more effective, cancer drug, with fewer side effects, be promoted to oncologists, so that their patients have better outcomes?
  • What motivates people to consider plastic surgery? Do different groups of people need different information along their journey towards this kind of surgery to help them make the right decision?
  • Which advertising approach for a new analgesic will be most effective amongst GPs?
  • Which different treatment pathways do cardiologists use for patients with heart failure and why?

Culturally, this boutique agency is a small, close-knit team, with outstanding senior talent, working to very high standards.

You will need to be clear, confident and fast learning, as you will be given a high level of responsibility and autonomy, with early exposure to clients. You should also expect rapid progress and development.

The successful candidate will be a great all-rounder, good with numbers and with brilliant written communication skills. This will be demonstrated by an outstanding academic record, including a 2-1 from an excellent University. Any degree will work but life science, social science or arts degrees are particularly helpful.

You will also need high-level interpersonal, analytical and written communication skills, with English as a first language, as well as being supremely well organised and having excellent attention to detail.
