This role sits in the research & insights team of the world’s largest communications and PR consultancy. Globally recognised for their ability to tell a story and do things differently they are a powerhouse and recently named the worldwide digital agency of the year.

They combine technology, storytelling and journalism to create emotional connections with consumers. They deliver smart, engaging and data driven communications marketing and innovation and are recognised as the original the founders of PR.

The new (but super successful) research division in Australia is looking for a smart researcher to join them at an exciting time. As a Research Manager you will take the lead on smaller research projects, as well as partnering with the digital, communications, PR and marketing teams. It’s seen as a hybrid role – half agency, half inhouse. Your previous experience working in a research agency will provide you with a solid foundation to be able to hit the ground running and bring a fresh and insightful perspective to the role.

Your days will be varied where you will:

  • Manage strategic ad-hoc quantitative projects from brief top presentation (& some qual)
  • Lead varied projects: communications, PR, strategic communication, corporate relations, influence marketing, branding and crisis management 
  • Build strong relationships with key clients (internal and external) across sectors – technology, digital, consumer brands and public affairs
  • Be hands on in proposal writing, questionnaire design, analysis, insight generation, reporting and presenting
  • Take your clients on a journey and use research to tell a story
  • Enable your clients to embrace the benefits of change
  • Think innovatively and will continuously strive to looks for new ways of understanding consumers and human behaviour
