The role is that of a Customer Insight Analyst, to look at the huge wealth of data on offer to them as an organisation and help build a story of consumer behaviour and purchasing decisions and everything around that. You would be looking at a range of data, from sales data, loyalty and pricing information, to behavioural data and others!
You will be working on longer term projects to increase revenue and shorter tactical pieces of working with stakeholders to make key purchasing and marketing decisions daily. In the longer term, projects can be looking at all areas of the business and trying to encourage different behaviours. The aim of the role is to understand the customer. With retail changing so quickly, understanding what they need means successful innovation and growth in an industry that is shifting on a weekly basis.
Successful candidates will have the following:
Excellent Excel skills, knowledge of SQL and Tableau would be advantageous but not required
2:1 degree or above in numerate or technical degree
Some experience analysing sales information
People that are interested in data and building a story from it
Good commercial thinker that wants to make their mark
Strong communication, teamwork and influencing skills
