Senior Economist (Nordic/Swiss) - Macroeconomic Consultancy

Cover the Nordic/Swiss Economies for this world leading macroeconomic research consultancy. Providing a strong combination of insightful analysis/forecasting and economic thinking to clients and journalists alike, you'll run the Nordic & Swiss Service and monitor developments in the economies and financial markets of Switzerland, Sweden and Norway closely. Producing frequent pieces of written analysis plus collaborating with colleagues on wider European/Global macroeconomic issues, you'll also be encouraged to develop your own profile and so become the 'go to' for comment on the Nordic & Swiss area, which in turn will drive commercial success of this service within the group. Ideally you'll be an economist at a financial institution, research organisation, or within the public sector who has some understanding of European economies (previous experience covering Switzerland or the Nordics is naturally highly advantageous); strong writing skills and the ability to produce clear/concise argument are essential given the nature of the work.
