Research Manager – London - Social (Quant/Qual)

Leading specialist policy & research agency - £35,000 - £40,000

A highly varied role where you will use the full Quant and Qual toolbox of methods to deliver insights and understanding to help guide policy decisions. This is a great opportunity for those looking to further their career in social research within one of the top agencies in the sector. They work with a wide array of public sector clients, from central government through to local authorities and NGOs and their work use used at the highest levels.

As a Research Manager you’ll be part of one of the public-sector research teams and will enjoy early client responsibility, designing and managing a broad range of ad-hoc and some continuous studies, geared towards helping both Research and non-Research stakeholders to understand key social issues. Probably at Research Manager-level, you should have strong communication skills and the ability to present to a broad spectrum of professionals. Good Quantitative skills are necessary while any Qualitative experience would be a plus but are not essential as the agency has extensive resources to provide additional support. The key to this position will be the ability to know what methods to use when and to deliver high-quality research that will have a visible impact on social policy at local and national levels.
