We're looking for a strong graduate or junior account executive/researcher to join a Hertfordshire based customer experience consultancy and work closely with some of their biggest clients in retail and hospitality, delivering insights and developing strategies to improve customer loyalty.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a research agency specialising in helping clients understand their customers’ experiences and to develop strategies for it’s improvement and to drive customer loyalty.
They work with major brands in retail and hospitality- such as Nandos, McDonalds, Shell, Pets at Home, HMV- to deliver actionable insights and action plans to make a tangible, financial difference and improve the experience of customers and employees.
They have offices all over the globe and expanded into the UK about a decade ago. Since then they’ve seen double digit growth every year, received their first venture capital last year and have exciting plans for the future.
THE ROLE - ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
They’re looking for someone to help with some of their major UK and European clients. As Account Executive you will help with the set up of research programmes and the delivery of insights to clients. You’ll also assist the with client queries and act as a key point of contact. Furthermore you’ll help with the management and implementation of customer and employee experience programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Account Managers across a variety of clients to develop, implement, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction tracking studies
- Assist with answering client questions, providing education/training regarding the programmes we manage, etc.
- Interact with clients via phone, email, and in person to provide outstanding customer service
- Help create presentations for client meetings
- Produce & deliver scheduled and ad hoc data and results for client contacts
- Help prepare for new business pitches (eg visiting prospect stores, online research, liaising with our design agency partners etc.)
YOU
The ideal candidate will be someone with experience managing a portfolio of clients and someone with an understanding of research and data.
More specifically:

An understanding of research and the various methodologies
- An ability to build strong client relationships
- An understanding of customer service
- An interest in the retail, restaurant, hotel, and/or pub sector would be desirable
- Full University Degree
