The Role
The Evaluation and Insight team provides the House of Commons with professional advice to understand how House strategy and activity plans, which determine the services that individuals and teams design and deliver, can meet the current and changing needs of our customers.
The Insight Research Manager is a new role with responsibility for qualitative research design and analysis on large and small evaluation and market research projects, managing suppliers, working collaboratively with the Senior Insight Analyst and the Customer Insight Manager
The Person
- Substantial experience of managing and carrying out primary and secondary qualitative research, preferably with an understanding of how quantitative and evaluation research can be interwoven.
- Specific qualitative research techniques experience from design and data collection methods to analysis and report writing. Ability to use a wide range of data sources, including context data to identify key findings and insights, making clear recommendations from analysis of evidence. Ideally with a knowledge of “theory of change” and impact assessment.
- Strong project management experience with ability to juggle multiple projects and work under pressure. Great attention to detail while managing multiple and fast-moving projects
