This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding candidate to make a significant impact against the University’s student recruitment and wider objectives through creating business intelligence reports which will directly influence decision making at the University of Reading (UoR).

The higher education sector has changed dramatically over recent years; it’s a genuinely global market and it’s never been so competitive or challenging to attract students, academics and funding. The University of Reading has an ambitious vision for the future, and our Global Recruitment & Admissions function has a key role in achieving this. At the forefront of attracting and recruiting the brightest foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate students, we continually work to increase our reputation and profile and to deliver an exceptional and personalised experience for prospective students and applicants. Working directly with the Data Insights and Enquiries Manager and the Director of Global Recruitment and Admissions, the Internal Insights Manager will play a lead role in this, producing and analysing data reports that will contribute to the strategic objectives and operational aims within Global Recruitment and Admissions.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding candidate to make a significant impact against the University’s student recruitment and wider objectives through creating business intelligence reports which will directly influence decision making at the University of Reading (UoR). You will be highly proficient in the use of Excel and have experience in interrogating quantitative data from multiple, varied sources to identify trends and produce actionable insights. You will have the ability to analyse and communicate complex data confidently to a varied audience (including via visualisations), and the ability to clearly articulate to non-technical audiences potential outcomes and methodologies for quantitative insight projects. You will be responsible for delivering against an annual programme of analytical needs and insights, using data sources which are primarily captured and mastered by the University’s internal systems, including our student records database (SITS) and CRM (MS Dynamics).
