Research Manager / Associate Director, Quant - Social | Employment & Welfare

This highly respected, long standing agency is a leading provider of social and political research and their dedicated employment, welfare and skills team provides research and evaluation to inform practice, policy, debate and communications across these highly topical and much debated areas. Using a variety of quant and qual techniques, their work involves the full range of audiences with a stake in the sector and clients include central government departments (DWP, HMRC, BEIS etc.) European agencies and think tanks. There is plenty of Brexit work to get your teeth into as well as a major study commissioned by the EIB.

With your enthusiasm for this emotive and vital part of our public services and a specialist in quant methods (an appreciation of qual would be an advantage), you will lead on projects and collaborate with senior researchers on the expansion of the business in the UK and increasingly internationally. This will include developing the profile and relationships with clients and research partners via proposals and pitches, networking and presenting at conferences and seminars. You will also major on project delivery and pastoral care, ensuring excellent levels of service delivery from pitch through to reporting and insight.
