Senior Research Exec / Research Manager, Quant - Specialist Insight Consultancy

They seek a talented Research Manager with a quantitative bias who is keen to join a fast paced, evolving company. As they are currently a small team working across both quant and qual studies, any qual skills would be great so you can support on the integrated projects. However they would be happy to train in these techniques as needed so you can be involved across all of the design and analysis stages.

Saying that the role is quant first and foremost. The work is mainly ad-hoc but there is one large project that is run twice yearly that you would take a lead on. This is for a range of media owners and is focussed on consumption and habits. It is a really interesting study which produces a who/what/when/on what set of data with plenty of meaty follow up research and lots of fresh analysis and story writing each time.

Whilst knowledge of kids research would be useful, it is certainly not essential as you are just as likely to be working with adult respondents as young people. More important are your solid quant skills and your enthusiasm for working in a team where you will be able to shape and develop your own role.
