They seek a talented Research Manager with a qualitative bias who is keen to join a fast paced, evolving company. As they are currently a small team working across both quant and qual studies, any quant skills would be great so you can support on the integrated projects. However they would be happy to train in these techniques as needed so you can be involved across all of the design and analysis stages. Saying that, the role is qual first and foremost. You will be a strong moderator of face to face IDIs and focus groups and will be comfortable running these sessions independently.
Whilst knowledge of the children/youth/family research would be useful, it is certainly not essential, as you are just as likely to be speaking with adults as kids. More important are your autonomous qual skills and your enthusiasm for working in a team where you will be able to shape and develop your own role.
